Renault Kwid EV is ready to be launched in India. While making its official announcement, the company has said that this electric car will be unveiled on 21st February. This vehicle can be launched by the end of this year. In India, this vehicle will compete with cars like Punch EV, Citroen eC3, Tiago EV and MG Comet EV. The price of Renault Kwid EV may be around Rs 10 lakh ex-showroom.
Design of Renault Kwid EV
Many changes will be seen in the upcoming Kwid EV. It will have a closed front grille, newly designed LED headlamps on both sides, a larger logo in the center of the grille, new alloy wheels, roof rails and blue accents on the door cladding. The silhouette is almost identical to its ICE model. There will also be new LED taillamps and a new bumper at the rear.
Renault Kwid EV powertrain
Globally, the electric Kwid is equipped with a 26.8kWh battery pack, which helps the electric motor produce 43bhp of power and 125Nm of torque. The pack can be charged from 0-80 percent in less than an hour with a 30kW DC fast charger and will give a range of 230 kilometers on a single charge.
