MAHINDRA XUV EV.9 FEATURES

Joining the coupe SUV bandwagon is Mahindra’s flagship XUV e.9 model, which belongs to a larger, higher segment. Recently the XUV e.9 was spotted testing in Bangalore, the test vehicle had camouflage indicating an advanced stage of development. As the name suggests, the e.9 will be an electric powered coupe version of Mahindra’s new XUV e.8 7-seater EV SUV. Mahindra XUV e.9 design patent was leaked in January and it was very similar to the concept version

Even under the covers, the front fascia of the XUV e.9 flaunts an impressive, upright stance that is reminiscent of the standard XUV700. The flared wheel arches, side running boards and dual tone alloy wheels hint at muscularity. However, it is the sloping rear windshield line that conveys the coupe’s intention to resemble the Tata Curve. The interiors are expected to be largely shared with the XUV e.8 with dual digital displays and premium materials.
